I am a little lonlier

I have lost a part of my life, and she'll never come back. I know she is in a much better place, and I have feeling that she is happy.

You'll always be in my heart, you've taught me so much and I am here to carry forward your legacy.

Steve Vai, Whispering a Prayer : For a while I felt this was the greatest song to be ever recorded. The guitar plays in perfect harmony, and it seems to suck out the darkness from inside me. I have no idea why.


Dated Jan 2013:
Dire Straits, Brothers in Arms : Grew a fascination with this slow blues song; the lyrics are soft but very penetrating. It makes me feel old, and grateful for what I have.

Winding thoughts of a clever nature

The morning sun, shines across the heaven,
where the lights are free and the winds are swift
In clouds I see your smile and feel how worthwhile
my life is

Intrigued by circumstances we snuggle in beneath
the fireflies burning their spirits with the morning dew
on their wings hazing their bright individuality.

As the thought crosses my mind how meager our lives are
and the incomprehensible struggles that has gotten us thus far
like fireflies we burn in the absence of a light
which guides us into the night, we and our bright love, maybe

When it lands softly on your skin, like a feather, you feel within
the greatness, the harmonious signs of the universe floating in
a bright blue light, the impudence to breathe, to feel one with oneself
and through your eyes, I see myself, grow to the point of no return.
